    1. If your spouse does not survive you by 28 days, the rules will apply as if you were not married.
2. Issue = all related children and include biological, adopted, illegimate, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. 
They will only benefit if their parents has died before you.  It excludes step-children.
3. If no brother or sister or their related childre (issue) survive you, then the inheritance passes
to half-borthers/sisters and their issue.
4. If no aunt or uncle (or related issue), then inheritance passes to half-brothers/ sisters
(and their issue) of your parents.
5. Spouse also include civil partners as defined in the Civil Partnerships Act 2006
